Mieux Design

The colour blue has always been associated to feelings of calmsness & serenity and for that reason this home appears as a calm oasis. This home in Puchong is designed to feel luxuriant and comfortable to anyone who steps into this beautiful space.

A show stopper, Mieux Design has il- lustrated its very best with this 3,372 sq ft Semi-D in Qaseh 1, Bandar Kinrara 8, Puchong. Polished brass against various materials and tex- tures is constant throughout the Modern Minimalist Zen residence. Using the combination of arches and lines throughout the home creates a modern space that looks

lavish but still homey and calm.

Being the first house for this particular owner, the team at Mieux went above and beyond to create an interior that would project the occupants personality, luxury as well as joy through the material, colours and designs used, notably gold, art pieces, and curves that mirror the smiling emoji. The entrance faces an elegant space – a mix of white marble and painted blue marble texture wall with brass lines that create the canvas for the plain white and polished brass console.

A solid white beam on the wall separates the space. The right side is adorned with a bold abstract painting as well as arches of polished brass, black spray-painted banister and glass panels that make the feature hand- rail. On the left, the living room holds a J-shaped white leather sofa, bronze wishbone chair and contemporary round coffee table. A feature marble wall frames the black console table and TV. Vertical bronze lines along the ceiling lead the eye to the back of the house, where a painted blue marble texture wall holds a blue abstract painting to reflect the sky indoors. The round marble table with bronze cone shaped base and matching wingback chairs overlook a beautiful garden that merges the outdoors and indoors into one.

Behind the dining table is a unique foldable sliding glass door panel of lines and arches. The kitchen is painted in green and white with black marbled pillars and brass ac- cents. It is a complete cooking area with every kitchen- ware an avid chef would dream of. This space also dou- bles up as a breakfast table that uses brass bar stools and the solid white island.

The study room sees a semi wall-mounted glass and black wood table taking centre place in the room and is a big contrast to the white built-in display shelf. The mascu- line master bedroom is a tribute to wood and brown. The wall has wooden panelling and textured brown marble. The main disparity in this room are the wall marble wall feature, bronze wishbone chairs and panther statue. The walk-in wardrobe is concealed behind wooden panels. Covered in white and bronze, a curved wall light mirror brightens the hidden space.

A relatively toned-down room of beige, white and bronze belongs to the young ladies in the family. The arched headboards are mirrored in the arch pattern in the display cabinet. The boy’s room is tastefully loud and masculine with the red brick wall and white and black built-in wardrobe.
